AI Disclosure
How we use AI at HiFi Pulse
HiFi Pulse is an independent audio review site run by a human who listens to gear before writing a single word about it. That hasn’t changed. What has changed is that we now use AI tools as part of the writing and production process, and we think you deserve to know exactly how.
What AI does here
We use AI — specifically Claude by Anthropic — to help with drafting, editing, and structuring written content. This includes helping shape review copy from our own listening notes, improving sentence flow, generating comparison tables and score layouts, and producing the HTML that gets pasted into WordPress.
AI also assists with behind-the-scenes tasks: SEO metadata, slug generation, tag recommendations, and page structure.
What AI does not do
AI does not listen to gear. Every sound impression, score, and verdict on this site comes from a real listening session conducted by a real human. No product has ever been reviewed on HiFi Pulse based on spec sheets, press releases, or AI-generated sound descriptions. If we haven’t heard it, we don’t review it.
AI does not determine our opinions. The conclusions we reach — what we like, what we don’t, what we recommend — are ours. AI helps us express them more clearly and efficiently, not differently.
Why we’re telling you this
Because trust is the only currency an independent review site has. We’d rather be upfront about our process than have you find out some other way. If you have questions about how a specific piece was produced, feel free to reach out via the contact page.
